Bridging Philosophy and Psychology of Yoga is an effort to bring metaphysical aspect of yoga into daily living. This course will aide participants in reflecting on their practice and understand yoga from a deeper level.
WEEK 1 :- Brief Sketch of Six systems of Philosophy
WEEK 2 :- Continued discussions of Yoga and Buddhism
WEEK 3 :- The Method of Yoga in Yoga Vashistha
WEEK 4 :- Metaphysics of Samkhya and Yoga
WEEK 5 :- Cosmological evolution, Causal, subtle and gross body
WEEK 6 :- Kosha Model of personality
WEEK 7-12 :- Psychology of Yoga in the light of Bhagwad Gita and Yoga sutra

YOUR PARTICIPATION AND ATTENDANCE
To benefit fully and get full advantage from the program, it will be desirable for you to attend every classes. The philosophy classes will be interactive. The class will be one hour and for the remaining 30 minutes the participant will be invited to do a guided mediation practice and exchange their ideas and experiences with the group. In between each session exercises, “homework” will be given. It is advised that you complete it through contemplation's and reflections throughout the week to ensure to keep connection from one class to the next.
